Pomos is a large, attractive seaside village built on a slope between the sea and the wooded foothills of the Paphos mountains. There is a variety of restaurants in the area, two grocery stores in the village, a few sandy coves for swimming and a small, recently constructed fishing harbour with well known sea food restaurant. There is a very popular jazz festival. This is a beautiful area of deserted beaches and wild coastline with the Paphos forest and foothills as a backdrop.
