Between Polis and the Baths of Aphrodite, this area is rather more a collection of fish tavernas and tourist shops than a village. A relaxing place to come to for freshly caught fish at a waterside restaurant after a walk in peaceful Akamas or a swim at one of the nearby beaches. There are souvenir shops and banks as well as the eating places, and boat trips along the coast leave regularly from the little harbour.
The resort has swelled in recent years and now includes tourist shops, bars and banking facilities as well as the long established waterside fish tavernas. There is an excellent European Blue Flag Beach of coarse sand or shingle and ‘Latchi Watersports’ are based here.

is 60 minutes.
Watersports with instruction are available at Latchi throughout the summer. The sea is sparkling and clear and boat trips along the Akamas coast can be taken.
