Sunvil Sailing - Our programme explained:
The Learn-to-Sail programme is for complete novices to experienced dinghy sailors who wish to gain yachting experience and certification. For almost twenty years we have been teaching people to sail and skipper a yacht whilst enjoying a flotilla holiday cruising the Ionian Islands at the same time. This isn’t just a sailing course but a social holiday experience, especially in the evenings when our small flotilla of about seven yachts meets up in a predetermined port for the night.
Anyone already at a competent yacht crew level or level 3 dinghies could do the first week learning to sail and skipper a yacht and the second week taking their own yacht on flotilla.
For experienced sailors (must be a certificated skipper and a certificated crew aboard) wanting to have their own yacht, please contact Allan on 020 8758 4780 for a price as this will depend on many different permutations such as the number of persons in the party, and the size of yacht required.
Please note: There is an on-site cash payment of £70pp for the learn to sail week (£95pp for two weeks) to cover continental style breakfast/light lunch/snacks and refreshments aboard from Mon-Sat; certification and log books; all on-board expenses such as fuel, water, mooring charges; yacht damage waiver; end of charter yacht clean; bed-linen laundry; one souvenir chart of the area per booking.
